The Long Weekend

I had been looking forward to this long weekend for a while. But then the funeral for my Aunt D came and landed on the day off. I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed seeing my family again (considering the situation), but I would've enjoyed the weekend had it not been for the events. But, my sisters and I still had a good time on Friday and Saturday playing games, goofing off, and eating marzipan. I even found a dress for the Sweetheart's Dance coming up for the Institute at school. On Monday, the funeral was beautiful and everyone was there supporting our family. The program was well planned and the Spirit was definitely felt. Overall, a good, yet crazy weekend.
