A Farewell To Remember

Well, the time has finally come. My best friend and partner-in-crime has left to go on a different adventure: a mission. She was called to the Minnesota, Minneapolis Mission and was set to leave May 28. Back when school was still in, the days went slow (it felt) and that looming date was something anticipated and far out in the near-distant future. But since school has been out, the days have meshed together and we find ourselves at this date, wishing we would have gotten together more. She gave her farewell, all the goodbyes were spoken, and I felt like a big piece of my heart had been torn out. It's one thing to be separated by a couple a hours and still be able to text and make phone calls, but a completely different thing to be separated by many many states with no contact besides letters. I know she'll be a fabulous missionary but that doesn't mean I won't miss her dearly. Love you K!

Denny's Run

It was our last week at Snow College, and I had finished all my finals. We got a group together and went to Denny's for a late-night dinner. Blasted the Beatles all the way there and just had a genuinely great time hanging together.

We even got crayons and did the children's word search, colored the menu sheets and everything. Who says college students are kids too? This was a fabulous adventure!
